Another wonderful example of a gay adventure game is the cult RPG Fire Emblem: Awakening. The game offers a variety of bisexual, gay and non-binary romance choices. The romances of Fire Emblem are not just an issue of gender for the player, but also on the house they decide to be a part of. For example, a male Courier is able to select the Confirmed Bachelor perk, which lets him love both male and female NPCs and female Courier could pick Lady Killer and Cherchez la Femme. She can let her love Niles and Rhajat (both bisexual characters).
Gay pc games
Life is Strange is one of the most impressive examples of LGBTQ representation in games. The very first episode of this series of video games was the first to showcase a sapphic love story, which featured Max Caulfield’s love affair with adorkable D&D mastermind Steph was a heart-breaking story that many players adored. The series Life is Strange: True Colors and the prequel series of 2017 Before the Storm further fleshed out this queer romance and made Max her canonically bisexual, and allowing players to decide whether or no to love her.

Dragon Age is another series which has made it a point to include queer characters. The first two seasons of the series let players pursue romance arcs with NPCs that were not based on gender, like the vampire Lords Dorian and Godfrey or the knights Arcade Gannon and Veronica Santangelo. The most recent Dragon Age: Inquisition added many more LGBTQ-friendly NPCs such as the non-binary tracker Bloodhound and the sassy seer Loba.

Apex Legends, a free-to-play game that features a diverse range of characters, is another great example. Apex Legends’ LGBTQ representation is comprised of the hot and lesbian character Valkyrie, as well as the queer pair Fuse and Seer and the newcomer Catalyst (a transgender character). This shows that the games on this list aren’t only about the action, but about telling meaningful and inclusive stories that encourage equality and diversity.
